Additional Growth Opportunities

GriefShare

Grief Support Group offered twice per year

A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.

Membership Class

Offered twice per year

A six-session class led by Pastor David that allows people to make significant relational connections with other people who are joining the WUMC congregation. It encourages learning and reflection on the Christian faith and the distinct “Wesleyan/Methodist Way” of living out that faith. Offered for anyone who would like to explore the United Methodist faith and/or make a deeper connection to Christ through this congregation. Note: You do not have to become a member to attend this class. New members will be received publicly in a worship service soon after the class concludes.
