United Women in Faith have a history of service for people throughout the world. You’re invited to be part of God’s work in the world as you walk alongside women with a heart for the least, the last, the lost, and the lonely.
Local Church Group Purpose: We are a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the Church.
United Women in Faith Wooster meetings are open, no membership required to attend. UWF meets the first Thursday of each month. Meeting dates and times can be confirmed here: calendar.
Reading Circle (Open Meeting)
The United Women in Faith Reading Circle is a bit different from a typical book club – participants choose a book from a list (or from the WUMC UWF Library in Room A) and share a brief summary of the book. Learning together and listening to each other can be a sacred encounter. You do not need to be a member of UWF to participate in the Reading Circle – all are welcome!
Third Monday 9:30a ~ Room A (second Monday February due to President’s Day)
no meetings Jul, Nov, Dec
Leader: Anita Greene (media@bright.net)
