Pastor David is glad to be part of the Wooster community, having previously served as pastor of several United Methodist Churches in northeast Ohio for a total of about 20 years. He enjoys creating environments where the great story of God’s love, grace, and mercy, shown to us in Jesus Christ, connects to people’s everyday lives, bringing about transformation through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Most recently, David has enjoyed helping the Church adapt as we move “off the map” into “uncharted territory.” He plans to focus his attention primarily on four main areas of ministry: worship/preaching, administrative/staff oversight, pastoral care, and adult discipleship/leadership development.

David enjoys music and sports and plans to get involved with community groups outside of the church. David and Beth have been married since 1995 and have three children – Daniel, Joshua, and Anna.
